**Position:** Full Time General Warehouse **Location:** Dixon, IL
**Job Id:** 1259 **# of Openings:** 15 Title: **Lift Operator and Order Filler** Division/Department: Retail Logistics Reports to: RSC Department Manager Description: This general warehouse position is primarily assigned to the receiving function and cross-trained to stocking functions. Additional cross-training in order filling and shipping functions may also be required according to business need. Cross-training may require certification to operate powered equipment; including, tuggers, forklifts, high reach forklifts, and electric pallet jacks. Staff members assigned to a general warehouse position should be prepared to work in any department for any duration of time based on business need. The receiving assignment requires that the staff member check-in products received and ensuring that products are accounted for and placed in appropriate lanes for stocking. A receiver is also responsible for unloading trailers (manually or with a forklift), signing freight bills noting exceptions, and verifying shortages/damages. The receiver is responsible for following safe work instructions, including the trailer control safe work instruction and CBM. A general warehouse position with a primary assignment as a receiver may assist with stocking, order filling, shipping, housekeeping, and other duties as required. Education and Experience:
* Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
* Desired: Reach or lift-truck experience
Skills and Abilities:
* Ability to follow safe work instructions and safety training
* Ability to be certified on various powered equipment
* Ability to meet or exceed productivity standards
* Willingness to assist other departments and functions as necessary
* Ability to work additional hours as necessary
* Ability to perform simple math calculations
* Ability to meet or exceed quality standards
* Ability to operate an RF barcode scanner
* Ability to unload trailers, haul freight manually and with a forklift
* Ability to sign freight bills noting exceptions
* Ability to verify shortages and damages
* Ability to work independently and on small teams
* Ability to adjust actions in relation to others actions
* Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations)
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 40-45 pounds
* Must occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
* Must be able to assist in team lifts
* Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, carry, push, pull, stoop
* Must be able to perform work at floor level, waist level or above shoulders
