SMX is seeking creative problem solvers who can operate in a fast-paced IT environment. We are looking for someone who has hands-on experience with managing a matrixed IT team. This is a hybrid position with on-site work performed at the client s office located in Washington, D.C. minimum three days per week. Top Secret clearance required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Acts as scrum master to facilitate the scaled agile framework utilizing Kanban methodologyUnderstand, distil, and communicate government and Program Manager strategy to define and track individual project objectivesOrganize, assign, and track IT technical development tickets within JiraCoordinate and facilitate cross functional teams to accomplish team goalsCommunicate project status through reporting and meetings internally, externally, and to government managementFacilitate and lead scrums, PI planning, sprint planning, and ad hocsWork in a fast-paced Agile environment with fluid requirements and changing prioritiesRemove blockers to progress and manage dependencies to ensure team successRequired Skills: Agile project management expertTechnical familiarity with SQL IT development and AWS cloud systemsFamiliarity with government Authority to Operate (ATO) Information Assurance (IA) processesUnderstanding of data management best practicesStrong soft skills to influence external entitiesModerate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint acumenModerate Jira development software experiencePreferred Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Certification and Project Management Professional (PMP)DoD Top Secret ClearanceRequired Experience: Bachelor s Degree in business management or similar field5+ years of experience with project management#LI-Hybrid#cjpostAt SMX, we are a team of technical and domain experts dedicated to enabling your mission.
