A day in the life
Wondering what a day in the life of an Accounting Clerk at The Iowa Clinic might look like?
* Perform accounting duties primarily related to bank reconciliations
* Participate in the accounts payable function including, but not limited to, verification of accounts payable invoices, verification of sales tax and general ledger accounts
* Post entries to the general ledger and other general accounting duties
This job might be for you if you have
* Two-year associate degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
* A desire to find a meaningful, fulfilling career
* Demonstrated proficiency in use of 10-key calculator and Microsoft Office products
* Detail oriented and comfortable working independently
* Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
* A positive and team-oriented attitude
