The City of Waterville is accepting applications for a LABORER position that will work with the Parks and Recreation Department. This is a semi-skilled position. Work involves the maintenance of park areas and grounds and includes operation of various light equipment operation, and other manual duties such as shoveling, digging, mowing, and construction work.
High school diploma, valid State of Maine drivers license (Class B CDL preferred) and ability to perform work in all types of inclement weather required. Successful candidate must live within 30 road mile radius of Parks and Recreation facility. Previous experience in construction and equipment operations preferred.
Applications will be accepted at the Public Works/Parks & Recreation Administration Building, 6 Wentworth Court, Waterville, ME 04901 until the position is filled.
