Whitmore is currently seeking an Assembler to join our team at the Rockwall, Texas facility.
Whitmore is seeking a skilled assembler to join the OilSafe/Air Sentry assembly team. The assembler will be responsible for building and packaging Oil Safe/Air Sentry finished goods per work orders and the production schedule, along with preparing shipments and receiving raw materials.
**Responsibilities:**
* Build sub-assemblies and finished goods per batch tickets
* Organize and prepare raw materials, sub-assemblies, parts, tools, supplies, etc.
* Assist with inventory control
* Cross-trained in running and processing production batch tickets and establishing schedules per incoming orders
* Must be willing to use scissor lift/forklift to complete tasks
**Education Requirements:**
* High School diploma or GED Required
**Experience Requirements:**
* Working in fast-paced environments
* Experience working with shipping orders, basic hand tools, and hand equipment
* Strong communication skills
**Skill Requirements:**
* Motivated with the desire to move up
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings for assembled parts
* Must have good time management skills and ability to meet scheduled deadlines
* Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to follow instructions
* Organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks
* While performing duties of this job, the employee is required to be able to lift at least 80 pounds and regularly required to stand, bend, lift, and carry
* High-quality standards and accuracy
