ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and unload incoming property, store or deliver outgoing property as needed. Ensure all items are properly tagged to identify source and department.
- Maintain various properties, lots and surrounding grounds which includes cleaning and mowing. Requires knowledge and prior experience with tools such as a lawn mower, weed eater, lawn chemicals, pressure washer, etc.
- Inspect and maintain all warehouse and yard tools, forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maximize storage space usage by building vertical platforms.
- Prepare items for packing and shipping.
- Inspect furniture, repair and clean upholstery as needed.
- Operate large trucks, trailers and forklifts for moving items and loading trucks.
- Manage temperature controls to minimize energy usage and preserve inventory.
- Inspect and maintain restroom facilities.
- Clean and maintain roof.
- Pick-up discarded electronics and damaged equipment for recycling or disposal.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), with particular emphasis in office skills, shop skills or similar
- Mental alertness and adaptability to office and field area work routines
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Experience operating forklifts, yard and work tools required
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Valid Arkansas driver's license with good driving record required
