Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Home Infusion Registered Nurse to join our team in the New Orleans area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infusion nursing and experience working in a home health setting.
In this role, you will be responsible for administering and managing infusion therapies for patients in the comfort of their own homes. This includes performing initial assessments, developing care plans, and providing education to patients and their families. You will also be responsible for monitoring patients for adverse reactions, coordinating with other healthcare professionals as needed, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to work independently while also being a team player. This is a part-time to full-time position, with the opportunity for flexible scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher
- At least 1 year of experience in infusion nursing, with a preference for experience in a home health setting
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
