The Facility Services Manager is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the delivery of services at a site level according to agreed standards. They will implement the facilities strategy working with Area and/or Regional Lead and third-party supplier that creates an environment where Syngenta employees can contribute to their highest potential, delivering innovative contributions to the business in safe, efficient and most effective way. The incumbent will work with facility management suppliers in a business partner relationship to continuously identify improvements to the service provided and areas where savings are made without reducing service quality, as well as manage performance output of third party (CBRE) in accordance with KPIs and SOW and maintain and foster stakeholder engagement at all sites. The incumbent also provides health, safety, environment, and security support at a home site (Stanton, MN) in coordination with Regional Lead.
Support the delivery of Capital, Maintenance and Operational projects performed on the site(s) in scope where applicable. Participate in safety committee meetings and assist in the implementation, maintenance, and audit of safety programs, training, compliance plans and initiatives Support equipment installs and expansion activities under the direction and supervision of project managers, engineers, and architects **Qualifications**
**Knowledge, experience & capabilities:** Bachelor degree
Must have experience in facilities operations in a commercial and/ or R&D environment.
Experience in greenhouse operations and a proven track record of managing critical contractor environments
Excellent communication skills, with both internal customers and external suppliers. Ability to effectively manage stakeholders in an inclusive and productive manner with exceptional skill in building productive and collaborative relationships.
Ability to creatively seek out solutions to meet a fact paced environment
Working knowledge of 24/7 facilities operations. Preferable in a commercial or R&D environment
