About the Role
As a customer service representative, you will be supporting our clients customers as the first point of contact. You will answer questions concerning their accounts. You will help customers with their account issues while providing them with exceptional customer service.
As a customer service representative, you will be responsible for:
Applications are being accepted for a Customer service representative, Level Three (CSR III) in a call center that services New Jersey child support clients. The CSR III will be responsible for safeguarding highly confidential information and providing guidance to callers in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations and the State of New Jersey Family Court Rules. Calls will be received from custodial and non-custodial parents with questions related to how to file for child support, the establishment of paternity, enforcement of existing support orders, child support payments, how to modify existing support orders, and how to close a support case.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- A passion for public service and desire for helping others.
- Associate degree or previous work experience in child support or human services
- Minimum 1-year previous call center experience
- Demonstrated ability for complex problem solving and critical thinking
- Basic computer competency and previous experience using Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to work on-site, Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Ability to sit for long periods
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Have a High School Diploma or an equivalent level of education
- Be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- 100% attendance during the training
