**Warehouse Associate**
Warehouse Forest Lake, Minnesota Minimum Experience **Entry-level** $2,000.00 Bonus = $1,000 after 90 days and $1,000 after 1 year
Position Overview
The Warehouse Associate has responsibility of driving forklift and using scanner to accomplish the shipping and receiving of products. Demonstrates Mustad values, showing respect for and engagement with co-workers, especially as they contribute to a quality product and organization success.
Essential Job Functions ( required duties and responsibilities)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
* Loads and unloads trucks and containers using forklift
* Drive forklift, accurately pick and pack high-volume orders for shipment, both in parcels and on pallets
* Uses hand scanner for performing warehouse management system activities
* Performs receiving and locating of product, makes replenishments of stock locations, including making necessary rotation
* Follows all safety and SOP regulations and procedures, including Mustad Performance System (MPS)
* Maintains clean and safe warehouse environment
* Provides other support as requested
E ducation, Experience, and Skills Requirements
* Ability to read, write and speak English
* HS diploma or GED preferred
* 1+ year of warehouse/shipping/receiving experience, with use of WMS/scanning system
* Ability to work in fast paced environment
* Forklift experience
Desirable Skills/Attributes ( preferred but not required)
* Computer proficiency in MS Office platform
Physical Demands
* Continuous sitting on and operating a forklift
* Frequent standing, walking
* Use of hands to repeatedly grasp, push, pull and perform fine manipulation
* Bend, squat, crawl and reach, sometimes above shoulder level
* Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
* Lifting up to 50 lbs
Work Environment
* Warehouse setting
* Exposure to heat, humidity, dust fumes, gases, toxic/caustic chemicals, airborne particles
* Exposure to moderately loud noise
* Exposure to significant forklift traffic throughout the warehouse
