PDQ Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced MIG Welder to join our team in the N Richland Hills area. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Shift: 1st shift M-F 5:00am-2:30pm, some Saturday's from 5:00am-11:00am
Must be available for mandatory overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Pass a welding test, showcasing skills in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
- Perform MIG welding using various materials such as .035 solid wire, .045 flux core wire, 7018, and 6011 rods.
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work orders
Inspect welds for accuracy and quality - Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and fabricate metal parts
- Operate machinery such as cranes, press brake machines, and forklifts as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Willingness to perform other production-related duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Proficient in MIG welding techniques
- Experience with FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and stick welding is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work orders
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
- Familiarity with pipe threading is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
