** Cake Decorator**

Ludger's Bavarian Cakery is looking for Creative, Enthusiastic, and Self Motivated people who have experience as a cake decorator. This position requires more than just a desire to know HOW to decorate but the ability to BE CREATIVE in creating unique designs to wow our customers! Cakes have come a long way from a simple 'Happy Birthday' and we are looking for someone who wants to create edible works of art!
The hourly rate is based on experience and skill level. Show us what you can do and we are willing to pay what you are worth!
** Junior Cake Decorator**
This position is for individuals who have the desire to become experienced cake decorators. A junior decorator who will provide support for senior decorators while learning the craft!
**Responsibilities**
Creating cupcakes, cake balls, cream puffs, etc for stocking of our bakery case.
Supporting senior decorators in fulfilling custom cake orders
Assisting with phone calls, cake orders, and customer service as needed
**Qualifications**
A minimum of 2 years in a retail bakery environment is preferred but other experience levels will be considered.
Proficient in the following tasks: base icing, borders, writing
Experience in creating basic icing flowers
Fondant experience a plus but not required.
Ability to interpret custom designs.
Senior Cake Decorator
**Responsibilities**
Creating cupcakes, cream puffs, etc for stocking of our bakery case.
Following instructions for decorating custom cakes according to orders.
Assisting with phone calls, cake orders, and customer service as needed.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5-10 years in a retail bakery environment is preferred but other experience levels will be considered.
Proficient in the following tasks: base icing, borders, stacking, writing, drawing, icing flowers, and shaping.
Fondant experience a plus but not required.
Ability to interpret custom designs.
This can be a full-time or part-time position depending on the candidate. Our work week is Monday - Saturday with Friday and Saturday shifts required for everyone. The hourly rate is based on experience and skill level.
