AmSource is a division of PCHI under the Amscan Wholesale portion of the business. **Job Overview:**
The Utility Packer is responsible for stacking product on skids, checking box labels, moving pallets to warehouse with pallet jack, shrink wrap pallets **Job Requirements**
**Responsibilities and Duties:**
* Reads production schedule or follows oral instructions to supply / remove materials for production runs.
* Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets to correct configuration
* Count, weigh, and record number of units of finished goods moved or handled on daily production tickets, wrap and label pallets.
* Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, gaylord, or other containers.
* Stacks or assembles boxes into bundles at packer station for use.
* Change out print and label stock or tape machine rolls.
* Move materials such as plastic scrap and rejected product into grinder hoppers, gaylords, or barrels.
* Maintains good housekeeping of work area, machines and equipment by cleaning and sweeping whenever necessary or directed
* Any other tasks or roles as directed by Shift Supervisor
**Skills Required:**
* Ability to read, analyze and interpret schedules
* Ability to communicate and present information effectively to Supervisor
* Operate Pallet Jack
**Qualification:**
* To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
* **FLSA Working conditions:**
* Must always wear required PPE.
* Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward for the length of shift
* Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
* Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with extreme temperatures and noise.
**ADA Physical Requirements:**
* Must always wear required PPE.
