Job Overview - Superintendent
Join our client's team as a Superintendent and lead the execution of high-profile construction projects in diverse markets. Compensation: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 + bonus + vehicle allowance Location: Mercer County, NJ - Onsite
Responsibilities as the Superintendent include:
- Project Management: Oversee all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Site Supervision: Direct all on-site activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Budget Control: Monitor project costs, manage expenditures, and ensure financial efficiency without compromising quality.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and materials.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring their expectations are met.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential issues early, develop solutions, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
Qualifications of the Superintendent include:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience managing construction projects independently.
- Proven track record of running entire projects in various markets, such as healthcare, life sciences, medical office buildings (MOBs), etc.
- A diverse project portfolio is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
