The Company s core concepts feature a multi-course meal coupled with productions that include horse riders, barrel races, flaming hoops and trick riding. The Company has a 30+ year history and has achieved impressive growth and scale given its iconic IP and strong repeat visitation metrics. They service over 3 million customers and run over 3000 shows a year across all locations. There is significant near-term opportunity to grow through geographic expansion and technology / systems implementation that will drive increased ticket prices and other per caps.

Qualifications:

  • Prior CFO experience required at PE-backed Company
  • Experience leading and building a finance team
  • Background in the live entertainment or hospitality sectors, knowledge of managing multiple geographic locations and build out of new locations is ideal
  • Has extensive background working with various financing partners, complex capital structures and financing documentation
  • Corporate development and/or strategy experience is highly valued
  • Experience at organizations with greater than $100mm in Revenue
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills
  • Effective planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Leadership skills with the ability to delegate, motivate and inspire team members
  • Demonstrate a high level of business acumen
  • Engage with staff at all levels of the organization and exercise sound judgement
  • Must be able to work broadly across many different areas and be able to get their hands dirty at a more granular level
  • Possess solutions-oriented mindset, strong stakeholder management skills, change management expertise and strategic thinking skills



Role Overview / Responsibilities (in addition to traditional CFO responsibilities):

  • Actively contribute to the commercial and strategic goals of the Company by collaborating with the CEO and Board to execute the operating and growth strategies of the Company.
  • Participate in all key business meetings, be involved in strategic initiatives and take a broader view of the business
  • Manage all aspects of financial management, including treasury and cash management, and coordination with external financial advisors.
  • Maintain relationships with financing sources on a monthly and quarterly basis, including certification of customary reporting and compliance. Ensure sound cash flow planning processes.
  • Lead annual audit process with external auditors and coordinate with Board around annual audit process. Lead tax planning, preparation and reporting for the Company.
  • Own the strategic financial plan and targets; ensure alignment with the Company s long-term strategic aspirations; oversee financial reporting / forecasting and analyzing of monthly/quarterly results.
  • Lead select organic and inorganic growth initiatives (i.e. acquisitions, geographic expansion, etc.).
  • Drive the use of financial measures to implement transparency and improvements in efficiency, productivity and cost structures.
  • Develop a core set of KPIs across the Company s offerings and coordinate with general managers in tracking KPIs across the locations
  • Refine and enhance business intelligence tool providing near real time insights into the KPI s
  • Oversee implementation of new ERP system as necessary to increase reporting efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within finance organization and throughout the Company.
  • Establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders
