Description
This position will assist the maintenance department in general maintenance and moving furniture in HCC Campus Housing during the summer.

Duties include
A. Perform general maintenance and repair of college housing and grounds as directed to include carpentry projects.
B. Work with the Grounds department to mow grass and other duties.
C. Maintain and repair doors, windows and locks on campus.
D. Comply with local, state, and federal codes and standards by monitoring, repairing, or recommending replacement of electrical systems, HVAC systems, or related equipment.
E. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following and enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
F. Maintain a service oriented, positive, and professional attitude toward the students, employees, and community people who interact with the Maintenance department.
G. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be 16 years of age. General experience in maintenance, construction, and mowing preferred. Should be a self-starter, be able to work without close supervision, and have the ability to work well with others.
