  • Our team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. From groceries and entertainment to sporting goods and crafts, Walmart U.S. offers an extensive selection that our customers value, whether they shop online at Walmart.com, through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.


  • What you'll do:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in observability, CI/CD, systems architecture, and software engineering.
  • Provide strategic guidance and hands-on support in the development of best practices, architectural designs, and technology solutions.
  • Lead and mentor teams in the implementation of complex systems, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the continuous improvement of our technology stack and processes.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in software engineering, advocating for their adoption where appropriate.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and resilient systems that meet business goals and customer needs.
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and troubleshooting sessions to ensure the highest standards of development.
  • Drive a culture of technical excellence, accountability, ownership, and inclusivity within the team.

  • Deep experience in large scale data ingestion with a large number of computations in both a streaming and micro-batch environment.
  • 10+ years in Supply Chain technologies.
  • Proven application of ML and GenAI.
  • Demonstrated ability to architect large scale platforms at scale that are multi-tenant, highly resilient, scalable, and cost optimized
  • Proven ability to work horizontally and influence across the organization
