**Technical Manager, Architecture & Interior Design**
Irvine, CA / Studio CAP / Full-Time Ware Malcomb has an exciting opportunity for a Technical manager to join our team in Irvine, CA!
The Technical Manager is a key position at Ware Malcomb, responsible for internal management and quality control of Architecture and Interior Design projects. This position will be a lead a lead technical resource and will become well versed in WM standards and documentation.
**Project Production Leader Responsibilities:**
+ Master Ware Malcomb general and regional production standards.
+ Attend internal kickoff meetings with the production teams, provide feedback to Project Managers and the production teams about missing information or lack of scope definition.
+ Set the tone for proper project documentation. Suggest milestone review sessions as needed per complexity of the project.
+ Perform code and accessibility reviews of projects to protect the firm and limit liability.
+ Perform constructability reviews and suggest alternatives as needed. Review all project details both standard and specific and provide sketches for missing details.
+ Perform final quality control of documents and communicate a list of undefined scope elements or missing information to the production teams and ultimately to the Project Managers.
+ Collaborate with Production Managers to prepare and present at monthly educational programs. Act as a mentor to all junior staff involved in production.
+ When requested by Production Managers, provide peer review of construction sets, perform thorough consultant coordination and provide detail sketches for missing conditions.
**Project Production Leader Qualifications:**
+ Preferred minimum of 10 years of experience within the field of Architecture or Interior Design.
+ Strong computer, written and verbal communication skills are essential.
+ Knowledge of model and state building codes as well as accessibility standards both state and federal.
+ Experience in construction and detailing.
+ Experience in the use of Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, Ganttic, Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
+ Preferred equivalent of a Bachelors Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
