A leading renewable energy association urgently needs a part-time Meeting Event Contractor to work 20 hours a week or so for the remainder of the year, some of these hours will be required to be worked onsite in a brand new office in Ballston
Roles & Responsibilities:
Builds events in association management system ( AMS ) and event management system ( EMS ) for registration.
Processes registrations, event inquiries, refunds and cancellations.
Produce and ship pre-printed badges for select events.
Prepare reports for regular status calls and the post-event registration summary.
Audit and maintain registration data related to financial information.
Works closely with Event and Program Registration on additional tasks as assigned.
Desired Education Level:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience and Certifications Required:
3-5 years experience in netFORUM or similar membership/registration database, including three years in event registration.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required (as demonstrated by prior work experience):
Strong knowledge of event logistics, automated databases AMS and EMS, and netFORUM.
Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, balance several projects, organize, and set own work priorities with proven ability to follow through on details and work in progress.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated individual who is also a team player with a high level of professionalism and emotional intelligence.
Thrives in a remote work environment; accountable, disciplined, punctual, adaptable, and demonstrates strong time-management skills.
Customer-service focused with a positive attitude; maintains grace under pressure.
Hourly Par Rate: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour, DOE, plus signing and completion bonuses
Location of Services: Hybrid or Fulltime office schedule near 4300 Wilson Boulevard for twenty (20) hours per week.
