Agility Partners is seeking qualified applicants to fill an open Software Engineer position for a Healthcare company that drives better health outcomes by uniting technology and clinical relationships through a connected healthcare network. This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the largest providers of Medication Therapy Management for Payers and Pharmacies that leverages a proprietary and unified ecosystem that manages everything from dispensing to medication therapy management to patient engagement.
- Participation and ownership in all stages of development process: requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
- Passionate about knowledge sharing and has the skills to help develop and advance the team through mentorship.
- Perform challenging work in designing, writing, modifying, and debugging software applications and services.
- Design and write high-performance, reliable, and maintainable code.
- Learn new technologies and integrate them with our infrastructure.
- Develop, test, document, and maintain web applications and scripts.
- Comfortable with large projects in source control, continuous integration and writing unit tests and integration tests.
- Design, develop and implement solutions around both micro-service and monolithic architectures.
The Ideal Candidate
- The ideal candidate would bring the following:
- Must be local to Columbus and willing to work onsite 3 days per week (M/T/Th)
- 5+ years of experience working as a Java full stack or backend software engineer
Technical skills:
- Java
- PostgreSQL or SQL Server
- React or Angular
- Microservices and API development
- AWS nice to have
- Kotlin nice to have
- Experience with practices like test driven development, paired programming, CI/CD, etc. highly desired
- Must have excellent communication skills and a customer focused mindset
