**Food Service Manager**

As the Food Service Manager, you will be instrumental in the daily management of the dietary services. If you are passionate about improving behavior health and excited about the opportunity to be a part of opening a new hospital, we would love the opportunity to meet you.

**Qualifications/Experience:**

- Education

- Minimum Associate Degree in dietetics or Food Systems Management; or

- Appropriate certification by Dietary Managers Association; or

- Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.

- Training

- Documented training related to the primary population served with the past year.

- Eligible and acceptable to meet the expectations of the Hospital.

- Experience

- At least one (1) year experience in a like or similar environment with knowledge of Missouri codes and regulations for safe food handling procedures.

**Job** **Details:**

* 64-bed acute inpatient setting

* IOP/PHP oversight

* Adult and Geriatric client population

* Behavioral Health and Addiction Treatment

* Acute intervention focus with short term stays

* Joint venture/Professional partnerships between NHC, Tennova and University of Tennessee - Knoxville

**Position Highlights:**

- Program Development: The duties of the Director of Dietary Services shall be in keeping with accepted standards for the state of Missouri and the rules and regulations of the Hospital.

- The Director of Dietary Services shall:

- Participate in regular conferences with the CEO/Administrator and heads of departments;

- Be responsible for the selection, orientation, training and supervision of food-service employees;

- Make recommendations concerning the quantity, quality and variety of food purchased;

- Be responsible for quality food production and service; and

- Participate in conferences concerning the overall psychiatric treatment program.
