Catering Sales Manager
Job Title: Catering Sales Manager -Must live Huntsville, AL Area
Reports To: Director of Catering
Position Type: Salaried + Bonus
Position Summary: The Catering Sales Manager (CSM) will build sales within a designated area by managing outside solicitation and support of stores in a that area. The CSM will speak knowledgably and professionally about Sterling Restaurants and will assist customers in ordering decisions. Territory will be Auburn, AL, Columbus, GA and Montgomery, AL.
Responsibilities:
Build catering sales to reach or exceed identified region's sales targets
Account Management and development
Visit potential customers focusing on stores within your area
Prospects for new business through cold calls via phone and in person
Build an open and honest line of communication with OP s/GM s and local teams
Follow-up to ensure each order is executed flawlessly (ensuring quality and timeliness of deliveries) by stores in your region
Conduct post-delivery satisfaction surveys with customers
Help develop and execute quarterly Marketing Calendar
Track and report order details to Director of Catering as needed
Provide excellent customer service and be a brand ambassador
Update and keep accurate notes and accurate customer database
Participate in weekly CSM calls
Manage display of up to date catering marketing elements for stores in your region
Help stores with delivery of catering when needed
Support Call Center in answering phones when needed
Required Skills/Characteristics:
Excellent sales, organizational skills, and outstanding customer service
Self-motivated, energetic, and goal oriented person with the highest professional ethics and integrity
Basic computer literacy: Outlook, Microsoft, quickly adapt to web based sales tools
Ability to travel four days a week
Experience:
3-6 years of restaurant catering experience
A consistent demonstration of sales growth
Experience working remotely is preferred
