Position Overview: The role of Controls Installer entails working in many different States, operating under the direct supervision of the site superintendent, in close collaboration with a team of professionals. The primary objective is to facilitate the installation of low voltage building automation and HVAC control systems within commercial structures. This role requires a high level of expertise, professionalism, and dedication to ensure the e cient and reliable installation of complex building automation systems in military installations. Your contributions are critical to the success of our projects, and we always expect the highest standards of performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform work at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. No travel during first 2-4 years
Installation of conduit up to 1" EMT & Rigid
Installation of low-voltage cabling and sensors
Installation of low-voltage control panels
Wiring and termination of low-voltage control panels and associated devices
MUST be able to bend conduit A+
What we are looking for:
A proven track record with a minimum of 1-3 years in conduit and wire installation within a commercial setting is essential. The ability to demonstrate a mastery of these skills is highly valued.
Pro ciency in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints is a fundamental requirement to ensure precision in the installation process.
A valid driver s license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
A clean background check with the ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
