Be Somebody. Be a Protector.SafeHaven Security Group, LLC is offering an opportunity to the right individual to provide protection for people and resources for our client in Little Rock, AR. The best candidate will perform the following duties with additional duties as requested:- Manage staffing levels to meet client demand.- Interview and hire new security officers who will best represent SafeHaven Security Group - Scheduling, communicating, qualifying, and classifying individual security officers to work at specific client site including but not limited to special assignments as they arise.- Manage security officers' availability and time off requests which includes publishing schedules in advance and updating, entering, and reviewing actual time worked so that it is accurate.- Communicating with the client and participating in meetings with client on issues involving security and safety, making recommendation as appropriate, or consulting with Consultant/Senior Consultant as to the appropriate recommendations to be made to the client.- Visiting with officers frequently about their availability and schedules, performance, and other job-related duties.- Provide leadership to employees and respond to client needs-Assisting in tracking officers' professional advancement and progression
- Manage stationary posts, patrol buildings, and other duties as assigned.
- Deny entry to all unauthorized individuals and escort unauthorized individuals off the property as needed.
- Respond to incidents and provide accurate documentation including verbal and written reports of incidents to necessary personnel and/or authorities.
Provide entry to authorized individuals Alert police of any elevated threats that may occur Protect people, businesses, and property from criminal activity Investigate reports of suspicious activities or disruptions occurring on property Be a Highly Visible Deterrent Be professional in appearance Be professional in interactions with others
- We prefer to partner with someone with the following education and experience:
- Current or previous military, law enforcement, or applicable experience is required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Successful completion of SafeHaven Security Group, LLC training and testing is mandatory at the time of hire to perform assigned tasks. Additional training may be requested and will need to be completed as specified.
The ideal candidate will possess the following competencies: Interpersonal Skills: Must deal effectively with members of the public. Vigilance: Need to remain alert and attentive for long periods of time Read and react to situations: High level of emotional quotient as Private Security Officer must determine the best way to address situations that may arise throughout their shift.
