REGISTERED NURSE (RN)

OCLI vision, one of the largest multi-specialty ophthalmology networks in the U.S., is looking for Pre-Op/Post Op Registered Nurses ( RN ) to join our Surgery Center and work alongside our Physicians in our renowned, multi-subspeciality eye care group.

THE OPPORTUNITY AT HAND

The RN is responsible for providing exemplary patient care alongside our Physicians as we treat cataracts, glaucoma, diseases of the cornea, and perform laser vision correction surgeries. You ll exercise good clinical judgement during Pre-Op/Post Op care and ensure all policies and procedures are being followed. You ll manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced PACU and OR while exhibiting sound judgement and problem-solving skills.

OUR EXPECTATIONS OF YOU

  • Assist in the overall management and leadership of the Surgical Center
  • Provide outstanding patient care on a daily basis
  • Work with Anesthesia providers on sedation and carefully monitor patients
  • Prepare patient for surgery and manage recovery and discharge procedures

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • You have 1+ years of experience as an RN in a Surgical Center or Hospital
  • You ve completed an RN program and are licensed and approved by the State Nursing Board
  • You re BLS certified
  • You re detail oriented and a strong communicator
  • Experience with IV therapy is preferred but not required
  • BSN and ACLS preferred but not required
  • Must be able to pass criminal background checks
