Supportive Solutions is in search of a Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician to join our team specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis. Our BCBA-owned organization delivers ABA services across various settings, including schools, daycares, summer camps, and homes, with current openings in Mecklenburg and Cabarrus County. Dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with autism through tailored learning programs, our RBTs receive hands-on training with continuous guidance from Board Certified Behavior Analysts. We prioritize delivering quality, enjoyable, and empathetic learning experiences, with a focus on natural environment learning. Whether teaching foundational language skills, social-emotional development, or advanced communication abilities, our team integrates learning into everyday opportunities.

Responsibilities of Behavior Technicians include:

  • Direct implementation of personalized learning plans under BCBA guidance
  • Weekly supervision and feedback from BCBA
  • Effective communication and collaboration with clients' care teams
  • Timely completion of daily progress notes and electronic data collection
  • Direct communication with guardians at therapy sessions' onset and conclusion
  • Preparation and organization of necessary materials for behavior programs

Requirements for Behavior Technicians:

  • High School Diploma required; preference for higher education in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or related fields
  • Current RBT certification from the BACB or willingness to complete a 40-hour training program and obtain certification within 60 days of hire
  • Experience and enthusiasm for working with children
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professionalism and ability to uphold boundaries while working in client homes
  • Physical capability to engage in therapy sessions (typically 2-4 hours) including sitting, crouching, standing, and floor play
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening
  • Valid driver s license, personal transportation, and auto insurance
