*This is a remote position, focused on the West Coast region.

The role of the Sales Consultant is to sell the Avidity Science product line to new customers or new divisions of existing customer. **Key Job Responsibilities:**

* Introduce Avidity Science to new customers.

* Leverage relationships with Sales Engineer and Avidity Science executives.

* Drive revenue and close opportunities by matching Avidity Science solutions to buyers.

* Identify opportunities to develop a total solution, not just product sales.

* Manage sales contact with customer through receipt of purchase order, training, and beyond.

* Minimize competitive losses.

* Strategically manage on-going relationship through account planning.

* Develop, detailed account plan including customer overview, business objectives, strategies, and competitive situation.

* Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.

* Knowledge of validation requirements in a GLP environment.

* Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

* Knowledge and understanding of strategic, corporate and product messages.

* In-depth understanding of customer goals, objectives, strategies, and competitive situation.

**Physical Demands:**

* The employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or touch. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.

**Qualifications:**

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field and 5 years experience in vivarium facility management and/or progressive selling experience, or combination of both.
