Welcome to Holy Family Catholic School. Substitute teachers are responsible for creating a positive learning environment and are expected to implement the lesson plans provided by the teacher; maintain a safe environment and take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect the students. A person in this position agrees to support the policies and expectations of our school and that of the Diocese of Orlando.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Uphold the mission of the school and value the teachings of the Catholic Church.
- Handle normal discipline in the classroom and enforces classroom expectations and procedures.
- Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and times designated.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Should hold a bachelor's degree preferably in education.
- Requires an appreciation and respect for the Catholic Church and its teachings.
- Church employees must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with and supportive of the mission and purpose of the Church.
- Their public behavior must not violate the faith, morals or laws of the Church or the policies of the diocese.
