Vice President of Sales (Genomic Software)

Invenex Search is proud to be partnered with a high-growth genomic software organisation, off of $25M in recent funding, located in the heart of Boston, MA.


We are looking for experts in bioinformatics platform and/or genomic analysis software to be sold into biopharma accounts.



Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the assigned market Boston, Bay Area, or Europe
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with leading biopharma accounts
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring clients' needs are met
  • Organise and continue to build the existing sales function of 10 FTE's, also adding marketing headcount.



What do we need from you?


  • 10+ years of genomic software sales experience (Example employers include SOPHiA Genetics, DNAnexus, Illumina, etc)
  • A strong network of mid-to-large biopharma contacts to call on from day one
  • 5+ years in a commercial managerial/leadership position
  • Demonstrated experience generating YoY revenue growth
  • Right to work in the US without Visa sponsorship requirement
