Job SummaryMaintenance techs at Sun Tan City keep our equipment and facilities running in tip top shape to ensure our clients receive a consistent high-quality experience with great results every time they visit, in a well-maintained relaxed and comfortable environment. From repairing & maintaining the tanning and spa equipment to keeping the laundry facilities functioning, our techs are integral to our employee's and company's overall success and brand reputation.
Tasks & Responsibilities:- Position may require two weeks of out-of-town training. (Expenses paid.)
- The Maintenance Technician will be required to be at a salon by 7:00am each morning, Monday thru Friday.
- Repair and maintain UV and Sunless tanning equipment.
- Maintain overall appearance of assigned facilities.
- Complete monthly parts inventory in company vehicle.
- Must be available for alternating On Call shifts with other technicians.
- Manage Daily/Weekly reports and schedule accordingly.
- Track and record monthly expense reports.
- Work with Salon staff and others to uphold Sun Tan City policies and requirements.
- Complete weekly lamp changes in tanning equipment.
- Ability to work 5 days per week, and approximately a 40-to-45-hour work schedule depending on hourly or salary status.
Experience:- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
- Mechanically inclined with basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and building materials.
- Ability to read schematics is a plus.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised in a team environment.
- Accurate and attentive to detail while having the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be well organized.
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
