Quality Control - Order CheckerF&W Distribution, LLC / North Hollywood, CA Position Summary:This position is responsible for providing quality assurance by conducting inspections, monitoring processes and procedures, and completing reports and logs to ensure that production standards are met.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Qualifications and RequirementsConducts in-process inspections and documents results in various reports/logsInspects orders going out to ensure compliance Aids in the production area to ensure a quality product is being produced; communicates and documents findings of any non-conforming productEnsure all first and last piece signs off's are completedWill also be responsible for creating and completing daily reportsReads and reviews materials, such as job tickets, PDF proofs, and any other special instructions that pertain to the job requirementsMonitors or observes processes to ensure that they meet production standardsEnsures warehouse associates are operating within the process structureDetermines quality improvement opportunities by collecting and reviewing dataDocuments inspection results by completing reports and logsAssists with Root Cause Analysis/ Corrective ActionsAttend Production meetings and relay accurate information to the teamDemonstrate ability to champion changes in production workflows, processes, and reporting requirementsSupports Warehouse managerFollow standard operating procedures according to the department's guidelinesPerform other duties as assignedComputer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic computer use.
