**Job Summary**
The Material Handler is essential to efficient movement of materials throughout the manufacturing facility. Duties include safely moving, loading, unloading, stacking, store components within the facility with accuracy, attention to detail, exceptional work ethic, and willingness to adapt. A positive attitude is essential to success in this role.
**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**
* Understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times; must stay focused on maintaining a safe work environment at all times
* Demonstrate high level of good housekeeping practices
* Safely operate the stand up and sit-down forklifts and report any safety or mechanical issues
* Unload inbound freight and accurately complete receiving reports
* Pull and stage materials for use by production
* Affix proper storage unit labels to the inbound components
* Load outbound materials properly into vehicles as required, to prevent shifting, or damage during transit
* Comply with all company policies and procedures
* Other duties as assigned
**Education and Experience Profile**
* High School Diploma/GED; or one to three months related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Experience with SAP preferred.
**Required Skills**
* Ability to communicate effectively, read, and comprehend basic instructions, short correspondence and memos.
* Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds.
* Proficiently operate a sit-down & stand-up forklift.
**Work Environment**
* Exposure to hot and cold warehouse climate
* Frequent exposure to motorized warehouse equipment
* Frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and stooping
