Summary
As a HVAC Installer, you will work with our mechanical projects team to complete commercial mechanical equipment change out, retrofit and installation projects. Typical projects include installation, replacements and retrofits of HVAC equipment, sheet metal / ductwork, piping and other related materials and systems.
Job Duties
Retrofit and installation of commercial HVAC equipment including RTU, chillers and split systems ranging up to 70 tons
Repair and / or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
Installation of other HVAC systems including duct and electrical wiring
Field fabrication of duct as required by the project
Complete required electronic reports and documentation daily on a handheld device
Work independently and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks within an allotted time frame
Operate company vehicle to complete projects within a specified territory
Requirements
3 or more years of experience with commercial HVAC equipment retrofit and installation projects
EPA Universal certification
OSHA 10 certification (the company will provide if needed)
Experience with water-cooled and chilled water systems (preferred)
Experience with high and low voltage wiring of commercial HVAS equipment
