Our team in Duncan currently has an opening for a Distribution Center Manager
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provideleadership to deliver first class customer service.
- Maintain asafe work environment.
- Make suredaily distribution assignments are carried out in a timely manner.
- Make surework area is clean and manageable.
- Managetransportation standards.
- Supervisethe daily activities of assigned departments.
- Supervisethe auditing of all transactions inbound and outbound depending on thedepartment.
- Supervise traffic coordinator/dispatcher
- Manage allfleet equipment/assets; coordinate with maintenance team
PERSONNEL
- Coach,guide and develop employees/drivers and hold them accountable for performance.
- PerformanceReviews
- Issuedisciplinary warnings
STAFFING
- Train,evaluate and develop employees.
- Manage thedepartmental attendance/punch detail records.
- Treatemployees fairly to help employee morale.
- Makerecommendations for proper scheduling and shifting
- Ability toprovide guidance and mentoring to your team.
YOUR PROFILEEducation and Experience:- Bachelor'sdegree required or relevant work experience
- 3 to 5years of supervisory/managerial experience, preferably in distribution and/orchemical industry.
- Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.
- Strongsupervisory and leadership skills.
- Selfstarter who has the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellentorganizational skills.
