Faith First Christian Counseling, PLLC is in search of a skilled and compassionate clinician to join a

growing private practice. The ideal therapist will work four to five days per week seeing 25 to 30 clients per week. We may also consider part-time clinicians to see 15 to 20 clients per week. This is an opportunity to move forward into a full-time position with a motivated, experienced, and wonderful group of clinicians.


This position is a W2 job so no need to keep up with your taxes. We re also offering paid time off. You can do the work you love while not having to be concerned about the business side of things such as marketing or answering new client calls. Our practice accepts both private pay and insurance-based clients, which means we take care of the hassle of all the billing and credentialing requirements that come along with being a practice owner.

Preferred experience: Working with couples, individuals (we are in need of someone experienced with males - both young and adult), families, children, substance abuse, and trauma. Having a working knowledge of incorporating Christian counseling into trauma work.


Pay: $30 - $40 per hour for fully licensed clinicians with additional opportunities for extra pay. $20-$30 per hour for associate level clinicians with supervision included.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mental Health Clinician located in Stokes county area. The Mental Health Clinician will diagnose, develop a treatment plan and provide psychotherapy counseling to children, adolescent and adult patients. They will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for the patient and maintain accurate patient records.


Qualifications

  • CAQH profile.
  • Master's degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Active provisional or full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of North Carolina
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a mental health clinician, preferably in a Christian counseling practice and working with diverse populations
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and proficiency in conducting clinical assessments, individual/group therapy, and crisis intervention
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing time and prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to providing compassionate, quality care to patients
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
