Description

SUMMARY

As the first point of contact for our dealership, the Receptionist plays a pivotal role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for customers. This position involves greeting customers upon their arrival, answering incoming telephone calls, and quickly assessing the nature of their business needs. The Receptionist efficiently directs customers to the correct department, responds to basic inquiries, routes incoming calls with precision, takes detailed messages, and imparts essential information to all individuals engaging with our dealership, whether in person or over the phone. The role requires a keen ability to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that each interaction reflects the professionalism and commitment to service excellence that define our dealership.

The right candidate must be professional, have effective communication skills, have multitasking and organizational abilities, be proficient with multi-line telephone systems, enjoy people, and have excellent customer service skills!

POSITION HOURS

Tuesday - Friday: 1:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 8 PM

Essential Duties

  • Regular and punctual attendance is imperative to ensure the smooth functioning of our operations and meet our customer's needs effectively, therefore it is essential that you adhere to Scheduled Hours, arrive at work on time and be ready to start your duties at the designated start of your shift.
  • Maintain a business professional appearance to reflect the high standards of our organization.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct callers to the appropriate department or individual, or take a thorough message.
  • Greets showroom customers and determines the nature of their visit.
  • Directs customers to the correct department, notifies the appropriate person that a customer is waiting and introduces the customer to a salesperson.
  • Interact with callers and visitors in a friendly and efficient manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Obtain basic demographic information about each customer if needed, using a computer system, a log sheet or other method established by the dealership.
  • Convey messages promptly to the appropriate parties, ensuring efficient communication within the organization.
  • Log Sales calls on Sales call log and enter Service calls into Workflow.
  • Assist with clerical duties as requested, such as quality check paperwork from the Office.
  • Efficiently manage the log and distribution of license plates as part of the operational responsibilities.
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the team.


Qualifications

Requirements
  • 2 YEARS MINIMUM OF CURRENT FRONT DESK PROFESSIONAL/RECEPTIONIST EXPERIENCE
  • Warm, welcoming demeanor with a concierge mentality
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Excellent communication skills, professional, able to adapt to change
  • Reliable transportation! Punctuality is crucial for sustaining the efficiency of our operations and guaranteeing uninterrupted service to our customers. Your dedication to consistently being punctual and proactive in communication is not just valued but expected in this role.

Language Skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before others.

Mathematical Skills
  • Ability to understand basic math concepts.

Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
  • Ability to problem solve.
