In the continuous changing world of software development and technology, the security of information is now more important than ever. We are looking for a security officer with proven knowledge. You will be the subject matter expert, who will drive security (awareness) through the organization. We, as Exact, have a large cloud infrastructure in which security is key. You will be working together with developers and infra engineer to advise on baselines, educated them about our policies and work on security risk assessments for new developments.
As our Information Security Officer, you will help define and drive the Information Security strategy, policies and maturity. You are recognized as the Information Security expert by internal and external stakeholders with proven strong technical capabilities. You do this in close cooperation with the different departments within Exact like our IT department, development teams, Legal, Internal Audit and several business departments. The security team is part of the GRC department in which we have a strong working relationship with all colleagues. Your main focus will be the security requirements of our cloud solutions.

* Advise the business on new security developments, requirements, and risks.
* Maintain and ensure compliancy to our security baselines
* Initiate actions, projects to improve the security of customer, employee, and company information
* Maintain information security policies, -standards and -procedures
* Drive security awareness and perform security (maturity) assessments and risk assessments throughout the organization
* Increase the security maturity of Exact
* Drive and initiate innovative security insights into the organization
* Lead the discussions for current implementation of security by design in products, processes and people.
* Work together with other GRC colleagues in building (security) control frameworks.

You will join the 4 colleagues (Security and Privacy) in the corporate team in the Security Office. They are known for their knowledge, integrity and smooth cooperation. The security office is part of the second line risk department, Governance, Risk and Control (GRC). Asking for help if necessary and offering help if possible is part of their DNA. With us, you van be yourself, and we would love to discover what sets you apart. For the position of Information Security Officer, You have proven security knowledge. And preferably good presentation skills. Whats more, you bring:
* Bachelors or Master degree in Computer Science or related technical disciplines, preferably complemented with an additional certification within the security domain such as: CCSP, CISSP or any Cloud Security Certifications;
* At least 5 years of knowledge/ experience within IT security or IT risk;
* Strong experience with cloud infrastructure technology
* Strong in communication, stakeholder and relationship management;
* Experience in handling end to end delivery with full delivery ownership;
* A proven track record in information risk, security and compliance;
* Fluent in English and Dutch preferred.
