System Network Administrator

LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks a full-time Network Systems Administrator to work onsite in Kent, WA. The Network Systems Administrator holds a pivotal position within the organization, tasked with managing the network, infrastructure, and cloud environments vital to business operations. They ensure systems operate securely and efficiently to meet business demands. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter adept at working in a dynamic environment. You'll join a collaborative team of four, leading strategic planning and maintenance of core infrastructure, cloud systems, and bolstering cybersecurity measures for the company s future growth.


Primary Duties:

  • Design, configure, deploy, and oversee network infrastructure components: Responsible for planning, setting up, and managing various network elements such as LAN, WAN, VLANs, VPNs, Active Directory, VMWare, DNS, and cryptography protocols (SSL, certificates).
  • Build, configure, and manage IT environment: Take charge of constructing, configuring, and administering the IT environment, which includes domain controllers, file servers, print servers, application servers, database servers, M365, and Azure services.
  • Security management: Collaborate with the company's managed security services provider to establish and maintain security tools, policies, and procedures, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of company data.
  • Performance monitoring and issue resolution: Monitor the performance of networks and servers, including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency. Diagnose and resolve issues promptly and provide recommendations for enhancing network and server performance.


Qualifications:

  • 2 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT support: Demonstrated proficiency in providing technical assistance to end users and maintaining systems within a dynamic 24/7 business environment.
  • Comprehensive technical expertise: Strong understanding of current systems software, protocols, and standards, encompassing firewalls, routers, switches, VMWare, and backup solutions.
  • Proficient network administration: Skilled in managing local, wide area, and wireless networks, including VLANs and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft and cloud technologies: Experience with on-premise Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, DFS, and Group Policy, as well as cloud platforms like Azure, InTune, and M365.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.: Non-U.S. citizens require an export license to be eligible for employment.


Education:

  • 4 Year IT degree, CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent experience.


Compensation/Benefits: $75,000-100,000
