** Desktop Support Specialist HQ, Lyndhurst, NJ**

At Sapphire Digital, were on a mission to enable, guide, and empower customers to control their health financial picture by making it simple to find, select, and access affordable care. We are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the user environment consisting of a mix of Windows laptops and desktops, as well as Mac OS laptops. Youll be responsible for preparing our new employee equipment which is essential to all new hires and business success. Were seeking candidates who are reliable, able to work independently, and motivated to take on new projects and learn new skills. This is a great opportunity to learn all areas of IT and grow your skills! This position is based out of our Lyndhurst, NJ headquarters. **This is a temporary to direct-hire opportunity.**

**In this position, you'll be responsible for:**

* Working with other teams to onboard new employees by imaging laptops and deploying new equipment to users prior to their first day.

* Managing shipments via the FedEx portal for all new and existing employees as well as managing Amazon shipments.

* Supporting the user environment by participating in our ticket queue (Jira Help Desk) which allows us to manage and support remote users, Windows, Mac, iOS devices, and printers for both remote and on-site.

* Troubleshooting and supporting devices through mobile device management (Meraki Systems Manager).

* Manage video conferencing and virtual phones (Zoom).

* Remote installations and cloud assignments for general and advanced software (Office 365, Lucid, Adobe, Etc.).

**You might be a good fit if you have:**

* 1 to 2 years' technical related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (i.e., internship).

* Strong knowledge of IT ticketing systems, VPN, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Applications for Business, Atlassian Suite, and SnipeIt.

* Associate's degree (A. A. / A. S.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.

* A+ Certification, Windows training, and/or Apple training preferred.

* Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize and organize shipments.

* Self motivation and a willingness to learn.

* Excellent communication skills and follow up.
