Job Title: Oncology Marketing Specialist
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite) Seaport area of Boston MA
Hours: M-F (First Shift)
Pay: $47.00
15 month contract opportunity
The Oncology Marketing Specialist within the Global Oncology Commercial Team plays a crucial role in helping EMD Serono advance its early drug pipeline. With a focus on the small-molecule DNA Damage Response Inhibitor portfolio, including major assets Tuvusertib and M9466, the specialist will be responsible for developing go-to-market strategies, supported by primary and secondary research, to support the commercial success of the DDRi portfolio. Success in this role will require the ability to rapidly develop deep therapeutic insights as well as the key aspects of onoclogy development to help position the product appropriately.
This role will involve cross-functional collaboration, project management skills, and potential travel. This position reports to the VP, Global Brand Lead of DDRi and will work in close partnership with the broader global project team. It may also involve assisting other early pipeline teams with their strategic imperatives.
Responsibilities:
- Aid in the selection of target tumors by building treatment and commercial landscapes to assess opportunity potential.
- Lead market research, target product profile creation, & revenue forecasting for settings across a diverse range of tumor types
- Work with other functions in DDRi umbrella to establish a brand plan and a roadmap for upcoming decisions.
- Assist with preparation for internal governance meetings, external conferences, ad boards, investor relations meetings, joint development committee meetings, and business development meetings.
- Evaluate competitive intelligence reports and clinical data; understand how these impact positioning of internal assets.
- Respond to queries and requests from leadership on DDRi
- Organize DDRi commercial resources and documents.
- Other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience in marketing, consulting or business
- Bachelor s degree required
- Pharma experience a plus
- Role requires 3 days onsite per week
- 15 month contract opportunity
