As a CDW Account Manager, you will grow the CDW account into a top revenue account for Wilson Electronics as we become a major player within CDW's connectivity offering, to become the go-to-solution within CDW's engineering solutions team. You will lead the channel efforts to grow our SMB business by developing additional partners that specialize in Small Business Verticals such as medical, real estate, construction, manufacturing, warehouse, etc.

Our Consumer Sales team is based in our Salt Lake City, UT corporate office. We prefer candidates based in the Salt Lake City or Chicago metro areas. Travel is anticipated between 35 and 50%.

This position has a competitive salary starting at $80,000+ a year depending on experience, plus a monthly sales bonus. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

As a member of our dynamic consumer sales team, you'll spearhead the development of comprehensive business and execution plans across various commercial verticals, ensuring seamless coordination, joint-selling strategies, and optimal resource utilization. Your role will be pivotal in identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities within these verticals, collaborating closely with named resellers and their support teams to drive sales volume and execution.

Regular communication about programs, offers, and promotions will be key as you traverse assigned customer locations, fostering face-to-face interactions to cultivate business development and generate opportunities. Your leadership will shine through frequent field engagements with subordinates, prospects, and customers, fostering strong relationships and partnership leverage. With a focus on face-to-face training, client engagement, and internal reporting, you'll be at the forefront of driving awareness, visibility, and impactful sales relationships.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A CDW ACCOUNT MANAGER:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of CDW account management experience is required
  • High understanding of indirect commercial sales and end-customer acquisition process
  • Prior experience in consumer electronics is a plus
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to articulate the Wilson Electronics value proposition
  • Ability to influence at all levels with customers, and internally
  • Expert knowledge of industry trends, competition, customer buying patterns and marketing techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships across organizations
  • Exceptional time management, prioritization, attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to self-direct and work remotely
  • Proficient with MS PowerPoint and Excel
