Your Mission

As a Senior Workplace Project Manager, you will own the development of Workplace Projects, including defining the project s objectives and being responsible for quality control throughout its life cycle.

This includes restacks, renovation and new construction according to deadlines and within budget. Additionally, this individual will acquire resources, and coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors, to deliver projects according to plan.

This individual will delegate project management operations as well as more day-to-day functions to other project team members while maintaining overall responsibility for the success of the project


This role is based out of the Irvine, CA. Blizzard Campus

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home, however adaptability in working hours is required to meet project deadlines and accommodate project needs, including nights and weekends.


What you bring to the table:

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Advise and lead project development from beginning to end.
  • Develop full-scale project budget plans and associated research documents for new projects or expansions.
  • Collaborates with all levels of the organization. Meets with partners to detail project scope, results, goals, risks, blockers, success measures, and estimated resources needed.
  • Ensures that projects remain in-scope and meet budgetary, scheduling, and quality requirements.
  • Crafts, leads, and distributes project communications artifacts like charters, schedules, and budgets.
  • Provides project status updates at predetermined time intervals to all collaborators.
  • Communicates routinely to management, customers, project team members, and other partners, actively soliciting and addressing customer and project team feedback.
  • Assists in business development efforts to build project proposals, RFPs, estimates, and schedules.
  • Sets and monitors project budgets and staffing requirements.
  • Ensures adherence to legally binding requirements.
  • Establishes key project criteria metrics, supervises achievements and results.
  • Develop project control and reporting procedures and run changes in operational plan.
  • Plans and leads status review meetings, which may include internal team members, vendors, and customers.
  • Measure, analyze, and develop key metrics for facility utilization and efficiency.
  • Responsible for training, managing, and motivating the project team, as well as resolving team conflicts.
  • Resolve technical and operational issues as the need arises.


Minimum Requirements

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in project management, construction management, or an equivalent combination of relevant workplace facilities experience.
  • Strong organizational and experience in balancing multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Risk assessment capabilities; Strong problem -solving, resolution skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and lead in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with leading direct reports.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent social skills including written and oral communications; relationship building.
  • Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft software; AutoCAD being a plus.
  • Knowledge of construction management processes and procedures and FF&E processes is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation skills and make recommendations to all levels of the organization, partners/business units.
  • Strong financial orientation for budget preparation, project financial reporting, and internal financial processes (e.g. invoices, purchase orders, accruals).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Familiarity with legal aspects of contracts to include contract preparation and negotiations.
  • Willingness to travel if required.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $34.96 - $64.64 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
