If you like your kitchen "clean - clean - clean", are extremely picky about food safety, and love the hustle and bustle of a childcare facility, this may be the position for you!


Monday through Friday day shift.


Preparing monthly menu in accordance with licensing standards / satisfactions, and allergy needs of students. Purchasing products with quality and cost effectiveness in mind. Ensuring food is stored and handled properly and that the kitchen facilities and equipment are cleaned and sanitized.


Prepare, deliver snacks and mid-day meals to classrooms; ensuring the appropriate substitute foods are provided and labeled for students with food allergies. Collecting and sanitizing dishes from each meal and snack; Performing regular inventory of food products and utensils, dishes, food prep items; insuring freshness as well as integrity of products/items; cleaning the kitchen spaces; laundry as required.


This position is highly physical requiring regular lifting of up to 50 pounds; regular stirring of large quantities of food; climbing stairs; fingers and hands to handle cooking tools, equipment and food; among others.


Position is ideal for a person with janitorial experience, cleaning experience, food service, and/or with institutional cooking experience.


Safe serve manager training required.
