Job Details

PSECU, a high-tech progressive financial institution with more than $8 billion in assets is seeking a Campus Ambassador who will spearhead member acquisition and brand awareness in the higher education community. As a Campus Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in building and growing relationships with students, faculty and staff and creating a positive impact around credit union membership in PSECU.

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES - Essential for this position:

  • Meet monthly member acquisition targets based on your school's annual goal.
  • Increase brand awareness and visibility within the higher education community through strategic marketing initiatives and engaging promotional activities.
  • Utilize digital and social media marketing to effectively reach and engage the target audience.
  • Act as the face of PSECU, both in person and online, representing the credit union in a positive, and trustworthy manner.
  • Collaborate with Community Relationship Manager to develop and execute campaigns, events, and partnerships to drive credit union member acquisition.
  • Attend higher education events such as summer orientation, homecoming, athletic events, and other partnerships to interact with potential members, establishing strong connections and instilling trust in PSECU's brand leading to member acquisition.
  • Create and maintain a strong online presence, leveraging social media platforms to engage with the community and promote PSECU's offerings and benefits.
  • Stay up to date with PSECU's products and services to continuously improve brand awareness and strategies.
  • Uphold ethical practices in all interactions and communications, adhering to PSECU's values and guidelines.


Employee Type: Part-time, nonexempt

Schedule: Will accommodate student's college/university schedule

Starting Pay Rate: $11.00/hr

Candidate must be bondable and creditworthy.

Minimum Experience:

Must be enrolled as a student at the University/College.

Preferred Experience:

Previous customer service and retail experience a plus.

Students pursuing any of the following majors, Finance, Business, Marketing and Communications is a plus as well.
