Basic Skills proficiency will once again be required for the issuance of the Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit after July 1, 2024. ***The Basic Skills proficiency requirement for the Emergency Substitute Teaching Permit for Prospective Teachers is not waived.Required documents are minimum requirements. Preferred documents (which will be given first priority in hiring) should also be attached include the following: CA Credential - Multiple Subject/Education Specialist or Single Subject Credential/Pupil Services Credential/30 Day Sub Permit or Emergency Substitute Teaching Permit for Prospective Teachers
