Job Details

A legal services organization in Washington DC is looking to add a new Executive Assistant to their growing staff.

Responsibilities:

The Executive Assistant will:

  • Complex calendar management and gatekeeping
  • Determining and following appropriate protocols for interactions with contacts
  • Preparing daily and weekly agendas
  • Preparing or ensuring the preparation of meeting agendas, materials, and talking points
  • Ensuring timely, pro-active communication with the security team
  • Booking travel
  • Recording and processing expenses
  • Correspondence and research
  • Document management and filing
  • Assisting with Board meeting preparations and day-of staffing
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from competitive US college or equivalent
  • Minimum five years' experience supporting a C-level executive
  • Commitment to the organization's mission
  • Superior writing and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated capacity to exercise judgment, strict confidentiality, and discretion
  • Ability to match the fast-paced working style, make decisions and changes quickly
  • Maintain a positive, open disposition, even in the face of stressful circumstances
  • Ability to multitask, remain extremely organized, and manage the multiple moving parts that constitute the job
