I am currently working with a highly reputable boutique law firm, who are actively looking to recruit an attorney who specializes in litigation to join their St. Louis office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal representation to the firm's clients, including preparation and review of legal pleadings, attendance at hearings, trials, and legal proceedings.
- Assist principals through preparation and attendance at trial.
- Prepare legal documents including discovery documents, discovery motions, dispositive motions, pre-trial pleadings, other pleadings and briefs required throughout life of the case.
- Plan and prepare for various aspects of a trial including witness examination, opening statement, trial motions, exhibits and jury instructions.
- Research legal issues and prepares memorandums.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Admission to the state bar of Missouri.
- 1+ year(s) of litigation experience.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
