Accounting/Payroll Specialist, Full Time Direct Hire Onsite Marlborough Area



Sigma Inc is currently looking for an Accounting/Payroll Specialist to work onsite in a full time direct hire capacity for our client in the Marlborough, MA area



Responsibilities:


  • Assist owners with day to day financial transactions

  • Help process Payroll with ADP.

  • Cut checks and monitor bank balances

  • Processes incoming payment and match invoices in QuickBooks

  • Process automated billing transactions from our clients nationwide.

  • Prepare Excel spreadsheets combining information from multiple sources

  • Apply cash applications for incoming payments in Quickbooks

  • Provide various monthly reports that include commentary to explain variances between actual results and budget/forecasts to owners.

  • Perform monthly account reconciliations that include a clear explanation of balance fluctuations as well as itemization of balance components.


Requirements


  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting at a minimum

  • 3+ years working in Accounting functions

  • Previous Quickbooks experience

  • Decent Excel Experience.

  • Preferred ADP Experience

  • A good analytical skill to investigate variances.
