Responsibilities for Business Development Professional:
- Manage the quoting process from start to finish which includes: drafting proposals and quotes with cost estimation, delivery, timely follow-up and purchase order finalization.
- Meeting with clients to determine customer needs and shape associated requirements.
- Create channels of new business opportunities, to include qualification, pursuit, and re-assessment on an ongoing basis.
- Spearhead internal quote process with internal teams.
- Handing project off to internal project team.
- Lead participation in trade shows.
- Act as main Point of Contact for our clients.
- Tracking and maintaining Business Development metrics.
- Conduct all business in compliance with company regulations and applicable state, federal, and international guidelines.
Requirements for Business Development Professional:
- Bachelors Degree in Aerospace, Business Management, Marketing, or related field.
- 5-10 Years of outside sales experience.
- Government contracting experience.
- Knowledge of Aerospace (not aeronautics) architectures, capabilities, and operational analysis.
- Experience managing a small team.
- Experience researching and writing Proposals (responding to RFPs).
- Willing to travel to tradeshows and meet potential clients.
- Planning and overseeing marketing initiatives.
- Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Experience in:
- Multilayer Insulation (MLI) Blankets
- Thermal Engineering/ Thermal Hardware Engineering experience
- Microsoft Project
- Deltek Costpoint
