Job Title: Branch Manager I
Department: Retail Banking
Reports To: Retail Experience Manager
Overtime Exemption: Exempt

Scope of Work
The incumbent is responsible for the overall administration and efficient operations of an individual branch office and has oversight of consumer lending, product sales, customer service, security and safety of the office. They are also responsible for attaining bank and branch goals through active participation in sales management and business development calling programs. In addition, they are responsible for personnel management oversight including hiring, scheduling, and performance management. They are responsible for providing a superior level of customer service and promoting a sales and service culture through coaching and staff motivation.
Essential Functions (3):
Production Develops, manages and participates in various sales activities in order to meet personal and branch production and deposit growth goals
Referrals and Centers of Influence (COI) Calls Develops, manages and participates in business development activities by establishing relationships with COIs in the community in order to meet personal and branch calling efforts and referral goals
Customer Experience Develops, maintains, and participates in ensuring a positive customer experience by overseeing the physical appearance of their branch work environment, staff appearance and behaviors, customer communication, wait times, and service delivery
Management Responsibilities:
Organizational Management Assists management in establishing and executing short and long term goals for the department
People Management Leads, motivates and develops individuals and team(s) through effective communications, coaching and training
Financial Management Manages department budgets and maximizes operational efficiencies. Maintains an awareness and promotes activity that ensures the organization meets its overall financial goals.

Promotes the Kennebunk Savings Brand by recommending our products and services, supporting our community focus & commitment to being a premier employer
Understands, supports and adheres to organizational policies and procedures
Consistently emphasizes the importance of teamwork in the department and company at large
Responsible for keeping abreast of company news and information
Responsible for completing required training and policy review
May serve on various committees
Willingness to take on additional tasks and duties
Desired Certifications & Licenses:
Registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and Registry required
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Displays high level of regard for trust and confidentiality
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
Displays strong written and verbal communication skills
Displays strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task to meet established deadlines
Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Effectively uses analytical skills to solve technical, as well as, non-technical problems
Prior knowledge of banking regulations is preferred
Ability to adapt to change
Desired Job Experience:
3 years of related experience in financial services with demonstrated business development, customer service and sales skills
Experience in a professional, service focused and fast-paced environment
Desired Education:
High school or General Education Diploma
Working Conditions/Minimum Physical Requirements:
Physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer and other office equipment
Lifting and moving of moderately heavy objects on occasion
